Services
One crew for the whole list
From tearing a bathroom down to the studs to re-hanging a door that never closed right — and hauling out the old furniture and debris when it is done. Everything below is work Jose does himself, inside and outside the house.
01Interior renovation
Framing, drywall, trim and finishing for interior rooms, done start to finish by me.
Most interior jobs start with something that wasn't built right — a wall out of square, water damage, or a room that just doesn't work. I open it up, fix what's behind it, then close it back up properly so it lasts. You get one person on the job from the first day to the final walkthrough.
- Framing and structural repairs
- Drywall hung, taped and finished
- Interior trim and baseboards
- Door and window casings
- Walls patched and sanded paint-ready
- Debris hauled away
02Exterior renovation
Porches, steps, siding and trim repaired and rebuilt to hold up outdoors.
Outdoor work around here takes a beating from the weather, and a lot of it was patched over the years instead of fixed. I tear out what's rotted, rebuild it with treated and exterior-grade material, and fasten it so it stays tight. Then it gets sealed and painted to keep the water out.
- Porch floors, steps and railings
- Rot repair and wood replacement
- Siding and exterior trim
- Concrete steps and stoops
- Caulking and exterior sealing
- Exterior priming and painting
03Bathroom remodeling
Bathrooms taken down to the studs and rebuilt with new tile, fixtures and waterproofing.
A bathroom is mostly a water problem, so that's where I start — proper backer board, waterproofing, and a pan that drains right. Then the tile, vanity, toilet and fixtures go in. Small bathrooms are tight work, so I plan the layout before I start so nothing has to be redone.
- Demolition and haul-away
- Tub and shower waterproofing
- Tile floors and shower walls
- Vanity, sink and toilet install
- New fixtures and hardware
- Exhaust fan and lighting
04Kitchen remodeling
Kitchens rebuilt from the studs out, from cabinets and counters to lighting and floors.
Kitchens are where a house gets lived in, so I build them to take it. I handle the layout, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, plumbing hookups and flooring, and I keep the trades lined up so the room isn't torn apart for weeks. You'll know the schedule before we start.
- Cabinet removal and installation
- Countertop and backsplash
- Sink and faucet plumbing
- Flooring and subfloor repair
- Wiring for lights and outlets
- Appliance hookups
05Painting
Interior and exterior painting with proper prep, so the finish actually lasts.
Paint only looks good as long as the prep underneath it. I patch, sand and prime first, then cut in clean lines and roll even coats. Floors, furniture and fixtures get covered, and I leave the room the way I found it.
- Patching and sanding
- Caulking and priming
- Interior walls and ceilings
- Trim, doors and cabinets
- Exterior siding and porches
- Floors and furniture covered
06Drywall repair
I patch holes, cracks and bad tape lines, then finish them smooth and paint-ready.
Holes, cracks and bad tape joints don't need a whole room redone — they need somebody who knows how to feather a patch out so it disappears under paint. I cut back to solid board, patch it, and tape and coat it in thin passes until it's flat. When it's painted you won't find the seam.
- Nail pops and screw holes
- Cracks and corner bead repair
- Water and ceiling damage
- Patch cut in and taped
- Coated and sanded smooth
- Texture matched where needed
07Flooring
Hardwood, laminate and vinyl plank floors installed level, tight and square.
Floors squeak and gaps show when the subfloor underneath isn't right, so that's the first thing I check. I level and repair the subfloor, then lay the flooring square to the room and tight at the seams. Trim goes back on at the end and gets finished to match.
- Subfloor leveling and repair
- Hardwood and engineered wood
- Laminate and vinyl plank
- Underlayment and vapor barrier
- Baseboard and shoe molding
- Transitions and thresholds
08Tile installation
Floor and wall tile set on a flat, waterproofed base with clean grout lines.
Tile work fails from movement and moisture, not from the tile itself. I set backer board, waterproof the wet areas, and use the right thin-set so the tile grabs and stays. Layout gets planned first so the cuts land where they should and the grout lines run straight.
- Backer board and waterproofing
- Floor tile and shower walls
- Kitchen backsplashes
- Thin-set and grouting
- Cuts around outlets and fixtures
- Sealing and caulking
09Doors & windows
Interior and exterior doors and windows fitted square, hung right and sealed.
A door that sticks or a window that leaks is usually the opening, not the door. I check the frame for square and rot, shim and fasten the unit so it sits right, and seal it so air and water stay outside. Hardware gets adjusted so everything latches and closes the way it should.
- Interior and exterior doors hung
- Door and window frame repair
- Locks, hinges and hardware
- Storm and entry doors
- Window replacement and sealing
- Trim and casings
10General home repairs
The small jobs other contractors won't come out for, done right the first time.
Not every job needs a full renovation, and the small ones are the hardest to get somebody out for. I fix the sticking door, the loose railing, the running toilet, the shelf that pulled out of the wall. I bring the right tools and I don't leave a mess behind.
- Doors, hinges and locks
- Caulking and weather sealing
- Trim, shelving and cabinets
- Railings and stair repairs
- Faucets, toilets and fixtures
- Small punch-list jobs
11Trash removal
Old furniture, appliances, and job debris loaded up and hauled off.
Not everything I haul out comes from a job of mine. Sometimes it is a basement that has been filling up for years, a garage after somebody moved out, or the old cabinets and drywall from a remodel. I load it, I sweep up behind it, and it is gone the same day. You do not need to rent a dumpster or drag anything to the curb.
- Furniture, mattresses and appliances
- Remodel and job-site debris
- Garage, basement and attic cleanouts
- Estate and rental cleanouts
- Yard waste and brush
- Curbside and dumpster-free hauling
Not on the list?
Ask anyway. If it is a repair around the house, it is probably a yes.
